How to Apply

For Overseas Students

Please follow these steps to obtain an F-1 Visa


Step 1

Send us the required documents

  1. RCE Application Form
  2. Copy of your passport
  3. Bank Letter **
  4. Payment of Tuition & Other Optional Fees
  5. Homestay Form (Optional)

Step 2

Wait for our documents

Receive an
  1. I-20
  2. Acceptance Letter
from RCE (3-10 Business days from the day you submitted)

Step 3

Attend the interview at the American Embassy
* After following these steps, you should receive F1 Visa from the US embassy within 5 to 7 business days.

** Acceptable forms of a bank letter are a personal bank statement or a letter from the bank.
However, if your parents/sponsor will pay for your expenses during your stay in the U.S., parents/sponsor needs to fill out the Affidavit of Support Form, which you can download here. In that case parents/sponsor has to provide a bank letter.
Amount of at least $20,000 is required for tuition and living expenses for a 16-week period of study.

For Transfer Students

If you already have an F1 visa and are planning to transfer to Rosemead College, please prepare the following documents in order to process your request.

  1. Photocopy of your passport, student visa, I-94 copy and I-20 form
  2. Signed transfer form (download here) to prove the eligibility of your transfer (pick up the form from RCE)
  3. A financial certification (over $7,000)
  4. Your current school's Telephone & Fax numbers
  5. Your overseas address
